Welcome to Canvas Live. By creating an account or placing a bid, you agree to these terms.

The platform

Canvas Live provides tools for artists to sell original artwork, prints, and live auctions. We are not a party to any sale — the contract is between the artist and the collector. Payments are processed by Stripe and routed to the artist's connected Stripe account.

Artist responsibilities

• You own or have rights to everything you list or stream.
• Descriptions, sizes, materials, and shipping timelines must be accurate.
• You are responsible for fulfilling orders, shipping, refunds, taxes, and any local laws that apply to your sales.
• You may not list prohibited items (illegal goods, hateful content, counterfeit work, etc.).

Auctions & bids

Placing a bid is a binding offer to buy at that price. If you win, you agree to complete checkout promptly. Auctions extend by 30 seconds whenever a bid lands in the final 30 seconds ("anti-snipe"). Artists may cancel an auction only under exceptional circumstances.

Fees

Free-tier artists pay a 5% platform fee on each sale. Studio subscribers pay 2.5%. Atelier subscribers pay 0% platform fee. Stripe's standard processing fees always apply. Subscription pricing is shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.

Refunds & disputes

Refund decisions belong to the artist. Canvas Live may step in to mediate disputes or, in cases of fraud, reverse a sale. Chargebacks are handled by Stripe.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard.

Disclaimer

Canvas Live is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or specific sales outcomes.
